What this course is
You will learn to identify the scalp conditions you are likely to encounter — dandruff, seborrhoeic dermatitis, psoriasis, traction alopecia, Central Centrifugal Cicatricial Alopecia, alopecia areata, tinea capitis and contact dermatitis — and to make safe, documented decisions about when to proceed, when to modify a service and when to refer.
The difference between contraindications and cautions is covered in depth, alongside the professional referral process and the duty of care every practitioner holds. This module draws directly on Anastasia’s trichology qualification.
