What this course is
You will cover the science behind key product categories — shampoos, conditioners, deep conditioning treatments, leave-in conditioners, oils, butters and styling products — and develop the judgement to select the right product for each client based on hair type, porosity, scalp condition and service.
Shampoo classification is covered in depth — clarifying, moisturising, sulphate-free, co-wash, medicated and protein shampoos — alongside how to read a product label professionally and how to advise clients on an effective home care routine.
