What this course is

This module covers all four core assessment characteristics required under the National Occupational Standards — porosity, density, elasticity and hair type — with hands-on practical testing methods for each.

You will learn to conduct a full hair assessment on any natural or Afro-textured hair client, interpret your findings accurately, and use them to make justified decisions about products, treatments, techniques and services — recording everything on the client record card.
