What this course is

This module covers the full range of professional tools used in natural and Afro-textured hair services — wide-tooth, pintail and rat-tail combs, afro picks, Denman and paddle brushes, sectioning clips, hooded and hand-held dryers with diffuser and nozzle attachments, steamers and specialist loc tools.

You will learn to select the correct tool for each service and hair type, use every tool safely, and maintain, sterilise and store equipment to professional standards — including the correct tools for braiding, twisting, loc work, cutting and treatments.
