What this course is

This module covers the full hair type classification system from Type 3A to Type 4C — teaching you to accurately identify curl pattern, coil size, shrinkage level and definition characteristics across all subcategories.

You will learn to classify mixed curl patterns across different zones of the scalp, understand how hair type directly influences product selection and technique choice, and communicate your findings clearly and confidently to clients.
